4/66 - 4/69 Assistant Actuary. Gould did research in Physical Damage ratemaking. After NAUA merged with the National Bureau to form the Insurance Rating Board, Gould was appointed Assistant Manager, Research Division, and continued to do and supervise research into physical damage rates and statistics. During his stay at NAUA Gould shared an office with Barney Fratello, author of an important reference paper on Workers Comp insurance that was a syllabus standard for many years. Gould and Fratello shared many a pleasant lunch at Mack's and Jack's on Fulton Street. Salary upon leaving: $14,000.
