3/87 - 9/89 Managing Actuary Gould was contacted by (L.H.) Roberts, by then the Department's Chief Property/Casualty Actuary, while still at B.R.I., to become his assistant. Gould was delayed for three months starting this job because of complications following a gallstone operation. Gould assisted in the statutory examination of the loss reserves of domiciliary companies and of the automobile JUA. Gould also contributed to the evaluation of the verbal threshold proposal. Gould also served on the admitting committee.
Salary on leaving: $60,500
